ORIENTATION - Fall 2004

Welcome to the Department of Allied Health Sciences.  

The faculty and staff are proud to present the BSDH Online Degree Completion Program.  The program has been developed using sound online instructional pedagogy.  Academic excellence and integrity is the foundation of the program.   

This orientation package has been posted on this web site in lieu of a hard copy.  Please review the orientation site carefully and submit any questions regarding this process to Deborah Dotson, BSDH Online Program Director.  The package includes, this welcome message, an agenda, a campus map, lodging information, and an opportunity to submit questions.  

The orientation is designed to provide information to make the transition to an online environment easier for you.  The agenda includes a scheduled time for ETSU identification cards, which will provide you access to the online library, an orientation of online library services, help with email activation, an introduction to DHYG 3100 course requirements, and opportunities for questions.  

The orientation is scheduled for September 3, 2005, in the Department of Allied Health Sciences.  This date is one week after the beginning of the semester.  The online environment is the delivery system for the course, computer skills will be required to complete the course requirements.  Technical support is available to online students through the office of Information Technology.  Information regarding student technical support will be presented during the orientation.  

We are very excited about our new program and feel confident in the level of academic excellence provided in this program.
