The Jerry Robertson Athletic Medicine Center at East Tennessee State University offers persons of all ages a comprehensive program specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of injuries. These may be associated with sports, recreation, job-related injuries, or geriatrics, such as those sustained after a serious fall.

The BUCSPORTS staff realizes that recovering from an injury can be difficult. Our primary mission is to help our patients get back to their regular daily activities as quickly and safely as possible. We design a special treatment program for each individual's specific needs. Most importantly, we place a great deal of emphasis on prevention so that our patients know how to prevent the recurrence of their ailments.

BUCSPORTS is equipped with the latest in work, recreational, and sports medicine technology, along with a staff of experts in orthopaedic evaluation, sports medicine, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. In addition, we have teamed together with many of our region's health care leaders to provide surgical and in-patient services.

	Location BUCSPORTS is located in ETSU's Memorial Center (Mini-Dome) on John Robert Bell Drive, which is accessible to State of Franklin Road. Our main phone number is (423) 439-4044.
	Reserved Parking Special parking is reserved for all BUCSPORTS patients. These spaces are located at the front of Memorial Center on John Robert Bell Drive. A ramp leading to the front entrance of BUCSPORTS is available for those patients needing special assistance.
	Scheduling Referrals/ Patient Appointments Patients and health care providers can schedule appointments by calling (423) 439-4044. We participate with most major insurance plans. Please call our office for insurance verification.

New Aquatic Therapy Center
	One of the newest additions at BUCSPORTS is the Aquatic Therapy Center. This safe and less painful therapeutic environment provides excellent care and training for patients and athletes suffering from a variety of orthopaedic and neurological disorders. Such a medium provides an ideal therapeutic setting for pre-, post-, and non-surgical joint and total joint patients, spine patients, or injured athletes, because they can walk, run, and perform various functional or sport-specific exercises which are reduced weight bearing without having to use an assistive device.
