Function of Position
This position is responsible to the User Services Manager for the support of
Macintosh computers for faculty, staff and computer labs on campus.
Essential Functions

Provides support of Macintosh computers for faculty, staff and computer
labs.

Provides setup and installation of Macintosh computers and software.

Troubleshoots hardware, software and peripherals.

Develops, installs and maintains images for lab computer systems.

Provides configuration of standard systems.

Integrates Macintosh computers into the campus network.

Incorporates new technology with current computing systems and technology
infrastructure.
Secondary Functions
Supports PC systems as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Abilities
-
Ability to diagnose and solve malfunctions of Macintosh computer systems.

Knowledge of software and hardware related to Macintosh computers, and
their interaction with PC systems and the campus network.
Supervision Given and Received
Performs under general supervision.
Plans and arranges own work which is directed toward an established objective.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 3-5 years of experience.
