potential; Function of Position Responsible to the Registrar for TBR reporting of academic data; management of the Master Course Inventory File; management and tracking of the Inventory of Academic Programs; training and support of academic users in the management of SIS data pertaining to schedule building; assisting office personnel in registration, class schedule development, and other functions of the office; and performing other related duties as assigned. Essential Functions -Compiles and transmits required reports to TBR relating to academic data including the enrollment report, first-time freshman enrollment report, first-time freshman retention report, and report of graduates. -Generates SIS production reports each term. -Manages and maintains the Master Course Inventory File. -Manages and tracks the Inventory of Academic Programs. -Updates classroom and site codes on SIS files. -Trains and supports academic users in the management of academic data stored in SIS relative to the building of the term schedules and the projected 4-year class schedule. -Supports Vice Provost in development of the Faculty Staffing Profile using faculty workload output data derived using variables defined for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning by Academic Affairs; performs other analyses of faculty output workload information in support of Academic Affairs staffing and resource allocation decisions. -Assists the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs in the management of the summer school; maintains summer school course enrollment accounts including expenditure and revenue status; communicates summer enrollment, revenue, and expenditure status reports daily via WWW to deans and chairs. -Notifies chairs and deans of need to close and delete classes. -Completes enrollment analysis for summer term. Secondary Functions -Assists office personnel in registration, class schedule development, and other functions of the registrar's office. -Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge and Abilities -Knowledge of university and TBR policies, guidelines and reporting procedures. -Knowledge of SIS data and functions. -Ability to plan, develop, and complete reports of academic data. -Ability to plan, develop, and implement workshops and training programs. -Ability to communicate effectively. Supervision Given and Received Performs under general supervision. Determines own methods of performing assigned work. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; two years of related experience.
