 Function of Position

Responsible  to the Associate Dean for developing, planning, designing and implementing non-credit programming; assisting in the development and provision of  logistical support and coordinating the delivery or program activities; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

-          Develops and implements non-credit programming (seminars, workshops and short courses).

-          Oversees program promotion, implementation and budgets.

Secondary Functions

-          Plans conferences, meetings, logistics and other related duties.

-          Performs other related duties as assigned.          

Knowledge and Abilities

-          Knowledge of non-credit program development.

-          Knowledge of marketing techniques.

-          Knowledge of computers.

-          Ability to communicate effectively.

-          Ability to manage complex projects and program budgets.

Supervision Given and Received

Performs under general supervision. Determines own methods of performing assigned work.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred; four years of experience in state government; experience planning programs.
