The main office for the University Center is located on the middle level. The main areas of the University Center Office Suite include the ID System Office, Facility Reservations, Camps and Conferences, and the Campus Lost and Found. The office is open from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m., Monday - Saturday and 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Sunday. Summer Hours: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday - Thursday; 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Friday; and closed on the weekends. The ARC Center is comprised of several academic and support services conveniently located under one roof. The ARC includes University Advisement Center, the Center of Adult Programs and Services, the Peer Career Center, the Office of Undergraduate Student Advisement, the NEXUS/Inside Track, and the Career Placement and Internship Services. The ARC is located adjacent to the University Bookstore on the second level and is open from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday - Thursday, and 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The ACTS Office offers a variety of academic and student support services designed especially for adult and reentry students. Adult orientation programs for entering students are held before the beginning of each semester. The center also offers information about careers, child care, financial aid, scholarships, and off-campus housing. The CAPS Office is located in the Advisement Resources Career (ARC) Center on second level and is open from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday - Tuesday, and 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Wednesday - Friday. - The Community Engagement, Learning, and Leadership Office is located on the lower level and is open daily from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The center is a central resource area for student opportunities in community involvement and servcie learning. For more information call [423/439-]5675.



- The office is located on the middle level inside the University Center Office Suite. The ID System issues ID cards with a color photo, name, campus classification, ID number, and Library barcode. - The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs is located on the upper level. Students should contact this office concerning attending Freshman Orientation Programs, the Preview program, substance abuse educational efforts, appeals for early readmission following suspension, hospitalization or death in family, transferring to another college, concerns of persons with disabilities, and for other student related concerns and issues. - The Counseling Center is located on the upper level. The Center provides individual and group counseling concerning personal problems, social problems, career choices, and educational majors. - The Student Publications Office is located on the upper level. This office is in charge of producing the school newspaper, the East Tennessean twice weekly. For more information please call [423/439-]5363.



- The Student Organization Resource Center (SORC) is located on the lower level in the two areas outside of the Martha Culp Auditorium. Each suite of offices will provide work areas and resources for all registered student groups and will house key university sponsored groups and professional staff members. The purpose of this arrangement is to aid in collaboration and provide much needed supplies, space and advice to large and small groups alike. This idea came about from many conversations and the desire to collaborate between Housing and Residence Life, Student Affairs, Student Life and Leadership and Multicultural Affairs. - The Career Placement and Internship Services Office is located on the upper level and provides alumni, graduate, and undergraduate students information concerning job placement opportunities for full-time, part-time, and summer employment. Internships, both paid and unpaid, which directly relate to major/minor are also available. - The Office of TRIO Programs, housed on the upper level, includes: (1) Student Support Services, which provides tutoring, mentoring and counseling for ETSU students; (2) Veterans Upward Bound, which provides pre-college services to eligible veterans; and (3) Upward Bound, which provides preparation for post secondary enrollment for selected high school students.
