Memorandum of Understanding
Faculty developing online ETSU courses may request development
money from Information Technology Services. The Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) lists the guidelines that should be followed
for those who wish to be compensated, which will be evaluated using
MOU Scoring Rubric
. Faculty should
complete the MOU, obtain the necessary signatures, and return to
Information Technology Services before beginning development.
Some courses may not be approved for development funding.
Courses that are part of an online program will receive priority
when making funding decisions. For more information about the

RODP Course Development
Faculty intersted in developing courses for the Regents Online
Degree Program (RODP) should contact Information Technology Services.
RODP requires the completion of course proposal forms, which are
presented to the RODP Curriculum Committee, before the course can
