Podcasts are syndicated collections (multiple episodes) of audio or video files. Simply put, this means that your audience can subscribe to a podcast and automatically receive new episodes as they are added. The audience receives actual copies of your media files, so they can play them with offline media devices, or share them with others. Episode titles appear in convenient playlists replicated on your audience's computers. Links to podcasts or to individual episodes within a podcast can be incorporated into web pages and e-mails.
