INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

The Veterans Upward Bound Program will have regularly scheduled classes at all locations unless excessive snow and icy roads prevent safe driving conditions.  When weather conditions exist that hamper transportation to and from school, classes will be canceled.

Please note

Anytime ETSU classes are canceled in your area, Veterans Upward Bound classes are also canceled. Class cancellation will be announced on area television and radio stations: WJHL, Channel 11; WCYB, Channel 5; WKPT, Channel 19;  WJCW, WETS, WMCT and WQUT radio stations.

Each student is responsible for his/her own safety; i.e., the roads may be clear near the Veterans Upward Bound classes and treacherous near the student’s home.

Students are requested to notify the Veterans Upward Bound office if weather conditions exist near the student’s home that make travel conditions hazardous.
