Established in 1996, the ETSU Writing and Communication Center serves the writing and speaking needs of ETSU students, faculty and staff through one-to-one tutoring, classroom instruction and a variety of workshops and programs. The purposes that guide our work are: - To promote excellence in writing and oral communication by through offering programs and services for ETSU students, faculty and staff interested in writing or speaking professionally, academically and/or creatively.
- To improve the writing and speaking abilities of ETSU students in all disciplines and at all grade levels.
- To provide ETSU faculty with instructional and professional support through in-class workshops and individual consultations.
- To improve the writing and oral communication abilities of international students at ETSU by offering programming and services designed to meet their unique needs.
