Transfer Information
The Academic Credential Analyst in Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for the following functions with regard to international transfer credit for admission to ETSU.
Evaluation of foreign credit submitted by international undergraduate transfer students.
- International undergraduate transfer students interested in attending ETSU must follow the application process. Details may be found here. Original or certified grade (mark) sheets or transcripts from all foreign colleges or universities must be submitted. English translations are required if mark sheets, transcripts, or diplomas are in a language other than English. The Academic Credential Analyst in Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for evaluating credit as part of the final determination of admission to the university. Transcript evaluations may be reviewed by students on ETSU's GoldLink by following instructions on students' admission letters; paper evaluation reports are not available.
Evaluation of foreign credit submitted by ETSU undergraduate students who participate in study abroad programs.
- ETSU students interested in study abroad must submit a Study Abroad Credit Approval Form for determination of foreign credit transferability. Failure to submit this form could result in ETSU students taking non-transferable classes and/or an insufficient number of credits to maintain full-time status. Approval of transfer courses and the determination of specific transfer credits is done by the Academic Crediential Analyst in Undergraduate Admissions.
