Advice to New Students: You will fail at everything you do not try.

Like any high school senior, I had a hard time choosing a college to attend. When I finally took a campus tour of ETSU, I knew that I had found the right school for me. In fact, I grabbed an application, filled it out, and turned it in immediately. Upon finally arriving at school, I was impressed with the number of volunteers that were there to help students move in. My father had so many people helping with my stuff, that all of it was in my dorm room by the time I got through the paperwork line! I’ve found in ETSU a place with the benefits of a large university, the feel of a small school, and the people that make a huge, positive difference. The experiences that I’ve had throughout my first year here have only cemented in my mind the fact that this is an excellent school. The environment is unlike anything that I’ve ever encountered. I invite you to come and experience the difference, to be part of this university’s continuing success, and to receive the tools that will allow you to achieve your own success.
