Implications for Practice
Things to think about…
What transfer and articulation policies are in place for prospective transfer students to in- and out-of-state public and private four-year institutions?
What can the community college do to better prepare transfer students?  That is, what is the role of the administration, student affairs professionals, faculty, and other college personnel in facilitating the “transfer readiness” of students?
What can the four-year institution do to facilitate a smooth transition of transfer students?
Collaborative efforts between 2-year and 4-year….what are they?
