The developmental studies program consists of courses designed to equip underprepared students with the essential skills they need in math, writing, reading, and learning strategies. Courses are taught in several departments. Academic advising also plays a key role in the program.
Advising for students taking more than just developmental math takes place in the University Advisement Center in the ARC, 2nd floor, D. P. Culp Center.
