FIRST-TIME FRESHMAN AND TRANSFER STUDENTS
Please use the following resources to guide your first steps at ETSU.

  • LAUNCH - ETSU's Online Orientation Program

  • Orientation program - attendance at campus orientation is mandatory for new students who live within 250 mile radius of campus.  At orientation students will meet with an advisor, select courses  and register for classes, receive ETSU student ID card, attend Resource Sessions (of your choice and attend college session and meet with other campus offices as needed.
  • Goldmail - all new students will receive a Goldmail email account when they are apply.  New students must activate their Goldmail and check daily as this is the  primary method of communication at ETSU.
  • Immunizations - based on Tennessee State Law, undocu mented immunizations will stop students from being able to register. Students should check their Immunization Status which includes missing requirements on GoldLink thru Self-Service Banner.  Login and go to Student and then Registration and then select Immunization Status.
