AFAM Minor
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR
Students who wish to enroll in the minor must take a total of 21 semester hours. The required courses are:
- HIST 3900 African American History to 1877
- HIST 3901 African American History Since 1877
- HIST 3720 History of Africa
- SOAA 3110 Minorities
Students must take an additional 9 hours, of which at least 3 must be in African Studies and at least 3 in African American Studies.
