Barbara Jaffe Silvers '74, '86
1984 Outstanding Alumna

Mrs. Silvers, a trustee and former secretary of the ETSU Foundation, was co-founder of the Richard Cobb Miller Journalism Scholarship at ETSU and founder of the Morton Brown Endowment funding scholarships in the history department. She was a member of the Committee of 1,000. Numerous scholarships at ETSU have been awarded through her efforts as president and manager of the Shulman Family Foundation.
