Mrs. Haun received her B.S. degree from ETSU in 1933, and M.S. degree from the University of Tennessee in 1956. Mrs. Haun, wife, mother, homemaker, and teacher in the city schools of Morristown, Tenn., held positions of leadership in professional organizations and served on various boards. She served as president of the Hamblen County ETSU Chapter for three years. She is also historian for Hamblen County and is active in all phases of community life. A frequent con tributor to the Morristown newspaper, she is an author of the book, Beyond the Classroom , and has written poetry that has appeared in "New Voices in American Poetry." Her autobiography has appeared in a number of volumes recognizing professional and civic achievement including the 1972 edition of "Two Thousand Women of Achievement" and "Community Leaders of America."
