Mr. Revell is Associate Deputy Director for Investigations for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He has built a record virtually unmatched among U.S. law enforcement personnel in combating drug trafficking, organized crime, and terrorist activities worldwide. He is one of the world's foremost strategists in the suppression of international terrorism. In addition to counterterrorist and intelligence activities, Revell has devoted much of his time at the FBI shutting down the American Mafia, the Cosa Nostra. He has advanced through the ranks of the FBI to his current position as one of the bureau's top administrators. President Bush conferred upon him the rank of Distinguished Executive in the Senior Executive Service, the highest award given in the federal service.
