2013 Tentative Schedule of Events

Reunion Brunch –Location to be announced. Brunch for Golden Fifties Club and Reunion Class of1963. Class group photographs will be taken.	8:30 a.m.	Friday May 10th
Tour of Campus and Johnson City – Tour for Golden Fifties Club and Reunion Class 1963.	following brunch
Ice Cream Social for Golden Fifties Club and Reunion Class of 1963- Location to be announced. Following the reception, the library staff will be available for tours of the new Charles C. Sherrod Library.	following tour
ETSU Alumni Association Awards Banquet & Annual Meeting –Location to be announced. At this event, we recognize outstanding graduates and friends, inaugurate new alumni leaders, honor our reunion classes, and pay tribute to retiring faculty and staff.	6:30 p.m.
Graduation Breakfast –Location to be announced. Members of the Class of 1963 and guests are invited to breakfast to begin the morning’s activities. Attendees will be transported to Memorial Center to dress in caps and gowns provided by ETSU Alumni Staff.	8:00 a.m.	Saturday May 11th
Commencement – Memorial Center (Mini-Dome). Members of the Class of 1963 lead the new graduates in Spring Commencement. Following commencement, trolleys will return attendees to their cars.	10:00 a.m.

  Golden Fifties Club



Each May at spring commencement, the 50-year class celebrates its golden graduation anniversary.

In addition, those who have been graduated 50 years or more are honored that same weekend at the annual meeting and banquet. The newest Golden 50's group leads in the graduating class during spring They are also encouraged to march during Spring Commencement and lead the current graduating class into Memorial Center while donning golden caps and gowns. The graduates of today stand with the graduates of more than 50 years ago, honored in the same graduation festivities. All graduates of different majors and concentrations they gather and show the true legacy of ETSU and its contributions to each person's life.  Those classes celebrating 45 year reunions, as well as existing Golden Fifties Club members are also invited to attend the weekend festivities.
