Research Experience Served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Program for the Study of Infancy of ETSU. Director: Dr. Wallace E. Dixon, Jr. Duties included: Observation of experimental procedure, locating potential research subjects, leading discussions of current literature, assisting with production of lab newsletter, operator of filming and distracting equipment. Fall 2006 – Spring 2007 Served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant to Dr. Ginette C. Blackhart. Duties included: Communication with IRB office and literature search. Fall 2005 – Spring 2007 Served as Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Applied Psychology Laboratory of ETSU (APL). Director: Dr. Chris S. Dula. Duties included: literature search, assisting with survey design, data entry and verification, and presenting research findings.

Fall 2004 - Spring 2005 South Governor Meredith Hall Duties included: coordinating 12 senators for meeting, organizing an all hall event, managing a budget for my office, and assisting with developing a new constitution. Fall 2003 – Spring 2004 Northwest Three Senator Duties included: coordinating schedules for the senators for the floor, acting as the representative for the floor at senate meetings, and assisting with all hall events Fall 2002 – Spring 2003 SAACS Senator to Northeast State SGA and Executive board member Duties included: representing the SAACS at the SGA senate and assisting with events ranging from volleyball tournaments to selecting the dining services provider for Northeast State. Duties for the executive board involved planning meeting schedule to designing experiments for Chemistry Day.
