| Welcome to the official web site of the Program for the Study of Infancy at East Tennessee State University. This is a research laboratory led by Wallace E. Dixon, Jr., PhD and Andrea D. Clements, PhD from the Department of Psychology and Kerry Proctor-Williams, PhD from the Department of Communicative Disorders. Each semester the lab is staffed by several graduate students and many undergraduate students. |

| The research studies conducted in the lab include topics such as the study of toddler temperament and language acquisition, prevention of preterm birth through stress reduction, and mother-child interaction and attachment. |
