Buffalo Mountain Park Committee (BMPC)was created by members of Friends of Nature to assist Johnson City Parks and Recreation in maintaining and promoting Buffalo Mountain Park, one of Johnson City's most precious yet underutilized natural areas.  The committee is involved in:

	Planning for future improvement
	Volunteer trail maintenance
	Nature programming
