Event Description Knoxville Early Music Project
Knoxville Early Music Project (KEMP) will present a concert of Italian Baroque sacred music featuring compositions for voices and instruments by composers Biagio Mariani, Alessandro Grandi, Antonio Bertali. KEMP was founded in 1991 and specializes in performing music from the Renaissance and Baroque eras on period instruments. KEMP has performed at concert venues, colleges, and universities throughout the southeast, delighting audiences with lively, informed interpretations of a wide range of Renaissance and Baroque music, including dance tunes, dramatic and art songs, and virtuosic instrumental pieces. |
