Thursday, Feb. 14, 12:45pm One Billion Rising Silent March Join us in our walk against violence, meeting in front of the Cave Thursday, Feb. 14, 7-11p One Billion Rising Celebration: Strike, Rise, Dance! Location: Galaxy Lounge, 216 E. Main St. Dance with us as we create a safer, more free world for women and girls. Join us for a night of spoken word, storytelling, and music, including live performances! Sponsored by: ETSU Women’s Studies, FMLA, The Little Yellow House, and Shakti in the Mountains For more information: Visit www.onebillionrisng.org One in three women on the planet will be raped or beaten in her lifetime… That is one billion women violated. On February 14, one billion girls and women and those who love them, will be rising in dance as a message to the world: the violence must stop.
