Little Buccaneers Early Childhood Laboratory Program
A Reggio-Inspired, Inquiry-Based Early Learning Center

Little Buccaneers Early Childhood Laboratory Program now offers child care to adjunct faculty. The program serves as a child care facility for children ages 3 months through 5 years, as well as a laboratory and research environment for ETSU students and faculty. We are a 3 star-rated facility licensed by the Tennessee Department of Human Services. The Star-Quality System recognizes child care providers who meet a higher standard of excellence. Each star shows that the provider meets increasingly higher standards; the more stars a program has, the better the quality of care it offers to children. Little Bucs has the highest rating a program can receive.

Little Buccaneers is part of the Tennessee Center of Excellence in Early Childhood Learning and Development within the Claudius G. Clemmer College of Education, located on the 1st and 2nd floors of Warf-Pickel Hall on ETSU’s campus. We are a full-day program, open five days a week. The program follows ETSU’s Spring/Fall academic schedule and is closed on state holidays as recognized by the University. Our hours of operation are 7:45 a.m.-4:00 p.m., with an extended care option until 5 p.m.
