Dr. Chih-Long Hu, assistant professor of piano studies at ETSU, proudly presents his student, Hanbo Ma of Wuhan, China, in a solo piano recital.  A pianist from a very young age, Miss Ma has won awards in her home country and in the United States. Her competition awards include third place of International Russian Music Competition in San Jose, California; first place in the state of Tennessee for the 2011 and 2012 Music Teachers National Association Steinway Young Artist Competition; first place of St. Andrews International Piano Competition in St. Andrews, Canada, which leads to a performance of Beethoven Concerto No. 2 with St. Andrews orchestra in their annual Gala Concert.
