JOHNSON CITY (February 22, 2013) – Dr. Kelly Price-Rhea, a faculty member in the East Tennessee State University College of Business and Technology’s Department of Management and Marketing, has been named one of 10 recipients to receive a 2013 Hormel Teaching Excellence Award.
Price-Rhea will be presented with the award at the Marketing Management Association conference to be held in Chicago in the spring.
Dr. Linda Garceau, dean of the ETSU College of Business and Technology, comments, “This award confirms something that we in the college already know – Kelly is an exceptional teacher.”
Price-Rhea has been teaching marketing classes at ETSU since 2006 and specializes in the area of consumer behavior. She has earned the ETSU College of Business and Technology’s Excellence in Teaching Award three times.
Price-Rhea notes, “The opportunities for professional growth through the university and the support of my colleagues and the administration in the College of Business and Technology have made this recognition possible. I am honored to represent ETSU in this manner.
