Cincinnati Conservatory of Music Wind Orchestra to perform at Science Hill

JOHNSON CITY (March 12, 2013) – The Cincinnati Conservatory of Music Wind Orchestra will perform in concert at the Science Hill High School auditorium on Monday, March 18, at 7:30 p.m.

This free public performance is hosted and coordinated by Dr. Christian Zembower, director of bands at East Tennessee State University. The ETSU Wind Ensemble will open the concert.

Conducted by Dr. Glenn Price, director of wind studies at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM), the CCM Wind Orchestra is regarded as “one of the finest wind bands in America.”

The CCM ensemble was selected by blind audition to perform at the 2013 National Conference of the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA), which will be held March 20-23 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In traveling to this destination, CCM Wind Orchestra will perform its CBDNA conference concert program in Johnson City.
