JOHNSON CITY – “Chorales and Remembrances,” the Ending Fall Bands Concert at East Tennessee State University, will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the D.P. Culp University Center’s Martha Street Culp Auditorium.
Under the direction of Dr. Christian Zembower, the ETSU Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will end their fall performance schedule with selections that contain chorales and elegies in memory of people or events. The program will include Jack Stamp’s “Chorale Prelude: Be Thou My Vision,” Frank Ticheli’s “Simple Gifts: Four Shaker Songs,” Clifton Williams’ “Caccia and Chorale,” Morten Lauridsen’s “O magnum mysterium” and David Gillingham’s “Heroes, Lost and Fallen.”
