Rural Physician Recruitment Dinner

Event Description
Presentations by: Rural practices and community health centers from Kentucky, Southwest Virginia, and Tennessee.
Menu: Fresh Spinach Salad, Salad Station, Wild Rice Pilaf, Country Style Green Beans, Roasted Vegetable Medley, Rustic Chicken with Mustard Cream Sauce, Baked Tilapia with Lemon Buerre Blanc, Bread, Desserts, Tea and Coffee.

This dinner is, in part, to expose the residents to rural opportunities in Kentucky/West Virginia, Virginia, and Tennessee, by representatives being present to address the issues involved in rural practice startup & management and to let our rural-directed residents know of the opportunities and technical assistance the Associations have to offer. We also want the residents to learn more about the type of practice they may want, if they are interested in rotating to any rural sites, how to process the search for a rural site and the incentives for physicians who may want to locate to an underserved area.
