Event Description
SMART Recovery ETSU is support group for students struggling with any substance or behavioral addiction. With SMART, you don't have to be "clean" to attend. SMART recognizes that recovery is a unique process, and that those seeking recovery need choices. SMART is not faith-based, although members are encouraged to explore spirituality on their own. SMART takes no position on whether or not addiction is a disease, but rather focuses on empowering individuals to take responsibility for their own recovery. SMART does not require lifelong attendance. SMART encourages a balanced approach to the development of a healthy lifestyle.
