Event Description
Dr. Melissa Rice, will speak about her work with Dr. Jim Bell of Cornell University on results from the Mars Exploration Rover (MER) mission. She used Pancam instruments to study the surface composition and history of water at Gusev Crater and used orbital imagery to study Eberswalde Crater, one of the four candidate landing sites for the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) rover. All lectures are FREE and open to the public.
