“Where’s there’s muck, there’s brass……..” Translation: Where there are dirty jobs to be done there is money to be made. Welcome once again to the world of the brass musician! Brass has been used as the name of copper and bronze coins, and later of all forms of money, in the UK since at least the 16th century. In the musical world it pertains to those fortunate performers on trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, and tuba. The ETSU Studio Brass Ensembles presents their fall concert and culminates in the traditional large brass ensemble to close out this recital.
