The ETSU Bands program begins the Spring semester performance schedule with a concert program of works that were either written for band first and transcribed for another ensemble later, or vice versa.  The program will consist of selections that include John Adam’s Short Ride in a Fast Machine, William Schuman’s Chester, Arnold Schoenberg’s Theme and Variations, Opus 43a, and Wagner’s Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral, among others.
