Event Description
Dear ETSU students, faculty, and staff,

Considerable work has been done over the past several years in preparing for our upcoming accreditation site visit from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACS COC). Our preparation included the completion of an extensive compliance report, as well as the development and launching of our Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) INtopFORM: Insightful Questions, Informed Answers. To learn more, visit the ETSU SACS website at http://www.etsu.edu/sacs/ and click on “Compliance Certification” (Password Required) to access all reports, or click on “QEP” for information about the plan.

I am pleased to announce that the SACS COC On-Site Reaffirmation Committee will be on campus Feb. 26-28 for the accreditation review. Accompanying the Reaffirmation Committee will be Dr. Cheryl Cardell, SACS COC vice president and liaison to East Tennessee State University. Dr. Cardell facilitates the work of the Committee, ensuring the SACS COC standards and policies are consistently applied.

Please join me in welcoming our visitors. SACS COC accreditation touches every person and everything we do on this campus. ETSU has held continuous accreditation since December 1927.
