Considerable work has been done over the past several years in preparing for our upcoming accreditation site visit from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACS COC). Our preparation included the completion of an extensive compliance report, as well as the development and launching of our Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) INtopFORM: Insightful Questions, Informed Answers. I am pleased to announce that the SACS COC On-Site Reaffirmation Committee will be on campus Feb. 26-28 for the accreditation review. Accompanying the Reaffirmation Committee will be Dr. Cheryl Cardell, SACS COC vice president and liaison to East Tennessee State University. Dr. Cardell facilitates the work of the Committee, ensuring the SACS COC standards and policies are consistently applied.
