ETSU First Lady to serve as celebrity host of Niswonger Children’s Hospital Radiothon

Event Description

East Tennessee State University First Lady Donna Noland will be among celebrity guest hosts of the Niswonger Children’s Hospital Radiothon kickoff this Sunday, March 3.

The celebrity guest hosts will answer the phones in the lobby of the Niswonger Children’s Hospital at Johnson City Medical Center for at least one hour beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday. In addition to Mrs. Noland, regional celebrities scheduled to participate include philanthropists Scott and Nikki Niswonger, Mountain States Health Alliance President and CEO Dennis Vonderfecht and First District Congressman Dr. Phil Roe, as well as radio announcers from the Holston Valley Broadcasting Group, which is hosting the three-day Radiothon on stations WKPT, WTFM, WRZK, WVEK and WMEV.

The kickoff will last until 6 p.m. Sunday. Individuals, businesses and organizations are invited to take part in the Radiothon by calling 855-611-KIDS (5437) between 6 a.m.-7 p.m. March 3, 4 and 5, or by visiting the event Web page here.
