Award winning vocalist Peter Lee enchants his audience with his incredible versatility in voice and depth of expressions. He is equally skilled as tenor and countertenor and has performed roles in Messiah, Elijah and St. Paul as tenor and St. John Passion as countertenor.  In recital at Yakult Hall in Tokyo Lee performed as soprano soloist with the Peabody Renaissance Ensemble. Opera appearances include the role of Basilio in Figaro, the roles of Nathanael in Les Contes d’Hoffman, Cochenille, and Pitichinaccio with the Peabody Opera. 

Lee earned two Master of Music degrees from Peabody Conservatory of Music, with concentrations in Voice and in Early Music. In 2011, Johns Hopkins University presented Lee their prestigious Knowledge for the World Award.

Lee’s ETSU debut recital will feature songs and arias from various periods and styles, sung in both tenor and countertenor voice.
