10 Times a Lady
Knit-a-Thon for the Children of the Appalachian Region

Dr. Zachary Marshall, director of the ETSU women's vocal group 10 Times a Lady, invites you to join the ladies and others for their first Knit-a-Thon in Mathes Hall.  Scarves and caps created during the Knit-a-Thon will go to the Santa Train (Kingsport Chamber of Commerce), a 110-mile Santa parade that delivers over 15 tons of food, toys, clothing, and other gifts to families in need in Appalachia.  Financial contributions from the Knit-a-Thon will help 10 Times a Lady achieve their goal of performing in London during Spring Break 2013.  From now until the grand finale date of November 3, the goal is to have as many caps and scarves in varying sizes, styles, and color, knitted or crocheted as possible.  The knitting club of Yarntiques is donating a limited amount of yarn to participants for free!

All pledge gifts are tax deductible.  Donors will be listed in the concert program for the ETSU Big Fall Show featuring 10 BucsWorth and 10 Times a Lady on Novemer 17 and 18.  (Visit www.etsu.edu/music/events for details about the Big Fall Show.)
