Welcome

The Department of Political Science, International Affairs & Public Administration offers a bachelor degree (B.A./B.S.) in Political Science, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Affairs, and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree.  It also offers five minors (Political Science, Legal Studies, International Studies, China Studies, and Urban Planning) and one Legislative Internship Program.  The department provides unique opportunities through its programs for students who have career interests in government, law, public service, public affairs, international affairs, non-governmental organizations, and education.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Department seeks to advance the university mission to prepare students to become productive, enlightened citizens who actively serve their communities and the world by offering programs that foster active learning experience among students, engage students in the thoughtful, insightful and systematic study of political life, international affairs and public administration and  equip students with the ability to understand and apply theories in the real world.
