Political Science is the study of the political aspects of the human condition. The political science curriculum is      designed to prepare students for effective, responsible citizenship and is a desirable major for students with

career interests in law, public service, and public affairs. The department offers courses of study leading to the bachelor or sciences and the bachelor of arts.

Announcement of a New Course

PSCI 4957/5957-201

Black American Political Thought


The Department of Political Science will be offering a new course, PSCI 4957/5957-201, call #34360, “Black American Political Thought”. The course will be taught by Adam Dickson in fall 2004, Mondays 7:00-10:00 PM, 302 Rogers-Stout. The course will introduce and discuss a range of ideological perspectives on the Black experience in the United States. Credit for the course can also be used to satisfy part of the requirements for the African and African-American Studies Minor.
