The Department of Political Science administers two internship programs with the Tennessee General Assembly. Successful applicants have the opportunity to get hands-on experience working in legislative offices in the state legislature in Nashville. Student interns earn academic credit and receive a stipend. Students who have completed at least 60 credit hours of course work are eligible to apply for one of these internships.
