upper class political science major with financial need. The amount and number of such awards will be determined by the faculty.

The Southern Dames Scholarship This non-endowed
scholarship is awarded by the faculty to a senior political
science major who has achieved excellence in his or her academic
work. More than one award may be made depending on the
availability of scholarship funds.

The John W. Burgess Award
The Burgess award is sponsored by the Tennessee Political Science Association
and is awarded every year to the Outstanding Political Science Student selected
by the faculty. The award includes a modest honorarium |
