Scholarships within arts disciplines—undergraduate opportunities
ETSU supports the creativity of our students by providing a number of scholarships specifically in the arts areas. Discipline specific information for undergraduate students may be found directly from the department or unit:

- Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country Music
Public Performance Scholarships—out-of-state students, graduate and undergraduate
Public Performance Scholarships are in the amount of out-of-state tuition, and they are awarded to out-of-state students who are admitted to ETSU under this program. The scholarship is intended to attract only new students, and already enrolled students are not eligible. A student holding a performance-based scholarship is an individual who displays distinctive talents; public performance or exhibition is a significant component to the program. Fine and Performing Arts Scholars—Honors College
This program is relatively new to ETSU, and it encourages the development of an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the arts. Each year, students with backgrounds in areas such as bluegrass, art, music, theatre, dance, digital media and other areas apply to this unique program. The program requires minimal ACT/SAT scores for eligibility, and students must maintain an overall 2.75 GPA while in college.
