If you are a General Biology Major, a Secondary Biology Education Major, or a Biology Major with the Biochemistry concentration and have completed less than 90 hours, you will need to meet with Joanna Cyrier for advisement. Her office is in the Advisement Resources Career Center (ARC) on the second floor of the D. P. Culp Center.

You must meet with your advisor every semester for help with class selection and major/minor/graduation/ general education requirement checks. Meeting with your advisor can help you answer many of the questions that you will face upon entering your college career and pursuing your academic and career goals.
If you have completed 90 or more hours, then you should meet with the Department of Biological Sciences for advisement. The Department of Biological Sciences is located in D.M. Brown Hall, Room 125. The department phone number is 423-439-4329. Please contact Dr. Hugh Miller during his office hours which are listed on his door in room 306 Brown Hall. His office hours do change each semester.
