Welcome to advertising.

Advertising is a very specific kind of communication.  It is an economic driver uniting products with customers.  Students majoring in advertising are entering a very fluid profession that combines business skills with creative application.  You will be provided with challenges in the classroom that will combine theory with practical hands-on applications.  Outside the classroom, you will be encouraged to build a bridge to your advertising career through membership in Ad Club and internships.  As an advertising student you stand on the threshold of global change in technology and communication, and here at ETSU you will be empowered with the knowledge to handle and anticipate those changes and use them to build a rewarding career.
