On April 18th, 2011, the ETSU community
celebrated the history and renovation of The Department of
Communication's Radio/TV/Film Division (RTVF). The ETSU's campus
community, current students, local media professionals and alumni
came to celebrate this special event.
Tom Headley, founder of the RTVF (formerly "Broadcasting")
program was recognized for his contributions to the program and
to the ETSU. Daniel Santiago, RTVF Chief Engineer, was
recognized for his work overseeing the 1.5 million dollar
renovation to the facility.
Thanks to a grant from the ETSU Centennial Committee, RTVF
produced a short documentary about the history of the academic
unit.
