Gordon K. Anderson

Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences at East Tennessee State University. The College consists of sixteen departments and the Center for Appalachian Studies and Services, ranging from the natural and social sciences, to the humanities and fine arts. In addition to being caring teachers, faculty in the College are productive researchers and scholars, and they are actively engaged in their community. Students in the College of Arts and Sciences have many options to select majors and minors, and may participate in research activities and field trips, internships, and community activities. We are committed to giving students a broad, yet well-defined education, using state-of-the-art classroom technology, and providing many opportunities for hands-on experience.
