Doug's Sage Butter


The Stuff That Goes in It

• 1 stick of butter
• 2-3 T. fresh sage, chopped
• 2 t. lemon juice
• salt and pepper

What to do:

• soften the butter
  
  
• add the stuff
  
  
• re-chill
  
  

Footnote: You can essentially do the same thing with any herb you want -- oregano, thyme, basil, chervil, rosemary, tarragon, an -- and so forth... .
