Doug's Green Chili Salsa (Salsa #3)
This is "temperature hot", not "chile hot". It is tasty, without being lethal.
What Goes In It:
half a dozen Anaheim or Plabano chiles
salt: to taste
pepper: to taste
juniper berries: 10-12 crushed
a finely minced garlic clove
a small onion, diced
2 T. vegetable oil
What to do:
roast the chilies under a broiler
cool in a paper bag, then remove skins, seeds, and stems
Mix it all up and saute in oil.
Serve warm, with chips or whatever
